Our Wonderful Town of Apache OK, and Freemasonry

Apache, OK History

Despite the fact that the Original Apache Lodge #223 was situated in a different location than it is today, Freemasonry has been deeply rooted in Apache, Oklahoma since 1903. It was during this year that a group of dedicated Brothers submitted a petition to establish a lodge in Apache. The Grand Lodge of Oklahoma duly granted this petition in 1904, solidifying Freemasonry’s presence in the Apache community.

The article reveals that just three years after what is known as “Oklahoma’s Last Land Run,” Apache established its own Masonic Lodge to serve members of the community and neighboring areas. This indicates that Freemasonry has been an integral part of the Apache community for more than 115 years.
